Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is the perfect place for a wide range of cultural activities. Museo Canario

	Founded in 1879, it has 12 halls and represents an exceptional important heritage consisting in an extraordinary collection of anthropological remains and evidence of the material and religious culture of the aborigines.

Casa de Colón

	Inaugurated in 1952, this includes two big courtyards and twelve permanent exhibition rooms relating to different subjects.

Elder Science and Technology Museum

This building, with a constructed area of 6,800 sq. m., has an exhibition surface of 4,500 sq. m. Its fundamental principle is based on its wish to pique its visitors' curiosity about the world. The way to achieve its purpose is through interactivity, and its catchword "PLEASE, DO TOUCH". Of the 220 exhibition items or modules, 200 are interactive. The exhibition surface is distributed over four floors, where different sections are found.

CAAM (Atlantic Centre of Modern Art)

	Besides the many modern art exhibitions housed in it, the centre is provided mainly with European, African and American modern art resources; a collection of Spanish contemporary art; a coffee shop and a restaurant.

Néstor Museum

	The Néstor Museum, inaugurated in 1950, is officially considered as a place of great cultural interest for the Autonomous Region, and its 10 exhibition rooms, its reference service and pedagogic centre are places that art lovers should not miss.
