Gran Canaria is situated on the Atlantic area of Macaronesia. It is about 210 kilometres from the closest part of the African coast and 1,250 kilometres from Cadiz, the closest continental European port. This multipurpose convention centre has a surface area of 14,000 square metres, of which 9,264 are destined to holding congresses, conventions, seminars, exhibitions, concerts, sporting events, fashion shows, meetings and events of all kinds.

Just 700 metres from Maspalomas beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, the modern, dynamic tourist area in which the Maspalomas Congress Centre is set, makes it an ideal place for holding all kinds of events. Within a radius of 300 to 2,500 metres around the Maspalomas Congress Centre, there are more than 11,000 4- and 5-star hotel rooms available.

The Gran Canaria Convention Centre is a modern building equipped with the latest technology. The Convention Centre itself is some 7,500 sq.m that allows for various sizes of halls with varying capacities, which offer a wide range of options to hold all kind of events. Close to the main building there are different pavilions totalling an exhibition area of more than 10,000 sq.m.

Besides the halls, there are various rooms to complete the offer, such as the reception hall, the pressroom and separate offices. In this way, the needs of formal receptions and press conferences are fully met.

The upper floor is designed to offer greatest comfort to the complementary services that any professional meeting demands.
On this floor, you will find two modern communication halls or Business Centers, with a surface area of 83 square metres each, prepared for meetings of executives, organising committees and personalities.

The VIP Room is in this area, designed to offer the greatest comfort and intimacy for people the event organisers choose and for well-known visitors. Next to this room, there are two other multipurpose rooms for any other activity complementary to the main event.
