Every district of the city has stores offering a wide range of products. However, there are certain where most of the shops are located.
District of Triana This was the first shopping area in the city and for more than a century, the only one. Nowadays, it is still a lively and energetic street, bursting with activity in business hours. It is the great living-room of the old part of the city, where people can admire the variety of architectural styles and, particularly, modernist adornment. It is also a place that encourages encounters with different people. District of Mesa y López Mesa y López is a big avenue with a tree-lined walk that includes great laurel specimens. A dynamic trade activity takes place here with modern shops, boutiques, shoe-shops, franchises or department stores such as El Corte Inglés. District of Parque de Santa Catalina In the streets surrounding the Parque Santa Catalina, most of the traditional Indian stores are located. These shops are the perfect places to buy electronic devices of any kind, so they are an absolutely essential visit. The Park has played an important role in the birth of tourism in the city. In the '60s, its pavement cafés were the meeting place. |
