DESCRIPTION:It is a pleasure to address you as we approach the final weeks before we gather at the SEAIC International Symposium: New Challenges and Opportunities in Food Allergy\, which will take place from 28 to 31 October 2026 in Gran Canaria. \nWe are at a particularly important moment for the field of allergology. Continuous advances in our understanding of immunological mechanisms\, the development of new diagnostic tools\, the emergence of innovative therapeutic strategies\, and the challenges arising from the growing impact of food allergy on our patients make scientific meeting spaces such as this more essential than ever. \nOver these days\, we will have the opportunity to share experiences\, discuss the latest advances\, and explore the challenges that will shape the future of our specialty. The scientific programme has been designed to provide the most up-to-date content\, promote the exchange of knowledge\, and foster collaboration among specialists\, researchers\, and professionals involved in the management of food allergy. \nThe symposium venue\, the Expomeloneras Convention Centre\, will provide an ideal setting for a meeting that aspires to become a leading forum for learning\, scientific discussion\, and the development of new collaborative opportunities. \nWe would like to express our gratitude to the Scientific Committee\, the speakers\, moderators\, and everyone whose dedication and efforts are helping to make this event possible. DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce the upcoming edition of the Congress of the Spanish Society of Abdominal Imaging Diagnosis\, which will take place on 29 and 30 October in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. This meeting has been designed to explore one of the fundamental pillars of our clinical practice: staging in abdominal oncology. \nAccurate staging is the cornerstone of optimal treatment decision-making. An error can lead to overtreatment\, undertreatment or even the loss of a surgical opportunity. With this in mind\, we have prepared a programme focused on practical tools and the latest knowledge to help address this challenge with the utmost confidence. \nThroughout the congress\, we will cover advanced CT and MRI protocols\, review key systems such as LI-RADS\, VI-RADS\, FIGO and PCI\, and analyse the increasingly important role of structured reporting. We will also discuss the integration of imaging into the overall management of oncology patients\, as well as the main controversies surrounding its use\, without overlooking an essential aspect: how to correctly interpret images in each clinical context. \nWe have sought to provide a comprehensive update on some of the most common abdominal cancers\, incorporating the most relevant and up-to-date topics\, with the aim of helping you consolidate or further enhance your expertise in oncological staging. \nThis congress will also provide an excellent opportunity to share knowledge\, engage in discussions with experts and continue strengthening a community committed to excellence in abdominal radiology. \nWe encourage you to take an active part\, share your experience and become part of this space for learning and professional growth.
