DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce the upcoming edition of the Congress of the Spanish Society of Abdominal Imaging Diagnosis\, which will take place on 29 and 30 October in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. This meeting has been designed to explore one of the fundamental pillars of our clinical practice: staging in abdominal oncology. \nAccurate staging is the cornerstone of optimal treatment decision-making. An error can lead to overtreatment\, undertreatment or even the loss of a surgical opportunity. With this in mind\, we have prepared a programme focused on practical tools and the latest knowledge to help address this challenge with the utmost confidence. \nThroughout the congress\, we will cover advanced CT and MRI protocols\, review key systems such as LI-RADS\, VI-RADS\, FIGO and PCI\, and analyse the increasingly important role of structured reporting. We will also discuss the integration of imaging into the overall management of oncology patients\, as well as the main controversies surrounding its use\, without overlooking an essential aspect: how to correctly interpret images in each clinical context. \nWe have sought to provide a comprehensive update on some of the most common abdominal cancers\, incorporating the most relevant and up-to-date topics\, with the aim of helping you consolidate or further enhance your expertise in oncological staging. \nThis congress will also provide an excellent opportunity to share knowledge\, engage in discussions with experts and continue strengthening a community committed to excellence in abdominal radiology. \nWe encourage you to take an active part\, share your experience and become part of this space for learning and professional growth.

DESCRIPTION:**The 42nd Congress of the Spanish Society of Physiological Sciences** will take place in **Las Palmas de Gran Canaria** on **18\, 19 and 20 November 2026**. This new edition represents both a renewed opportunity and an exciting challenge for the Organising Committee\, which is committed to maintaining the high scientific standards and active participation that have characterised our meetings in recent years. \nThe Congress will once again provide a unique forum for the exchange of knowledge across the basic\, translational and clinical fields of Physiological Sciences. We aim for these sessions to foster interdisciplinary dialogue\, encourage new collaborations between national and international research groups\, and serve as a platform for presenting innovative research that contributes to the advancement of our discipline. \nThe scientific programme will address the most current topics in Physiology through thematic symposia\, oral communications and poster sessions reflecting the diversity and excellence of our field. Without doubt\, the true success of the Congress will depend on your presence and active participation\, sharing results\, exchanging ideas and working together to shape the future of Physiology. \nThe sessions will take place in the exceptional setting of **Las Palmas de Gran Canaria**\, a city open to the Atlantic and a bridge between continents\, offering an outstanding environment for both scientific exchange and personal interaction.
