The Consul Democracy Foundation in collaboration with the Cabildo de Gran Canario is organising the next ConsulCon from 4 to 6 February 2025 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The conference celebrates the 10th anniversary of the open source project Consul Democracy and brings the project back to where it all started, Spain.
Since 2015, the citizen participation platform Consul Democracy has spread around the world to countries as diverse as Brazil, Mexico, Scotland, Germany, Romania and, most recently, Somalia and the Maldives.
ConsulCon2025 in Gran Canaria will be a time to reflect and take stock, but above all a time to connect an ever-developing community, exchange views and knowledge, and take a collective look into the near future.
So save the date to attend an impressive three-day event on Consultative Democracy, participatory democracy, open source technology and much more. There will be demonstrations, workshops on participatory processes, sessions on open source technology and speeches on the democratic potential of it all.
