The 22nd Congress of the Spanish Society of Psychogeriatrics (SEPG) will be held from 16 to 18 October 2025 at the Canary Islands Conference Centre – Alfredo Kraus Auditorium (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria), under the slogan ‘Uniting Knowledge: Humanisation and Science for an Evolving Psychogeriatrics’.
Ageing poses complex challenges that require a global perspective. Frailty, polypharmacy, psychiatric and neurodegenerative pathologies, and the need for comprehensive care demand responses based on evidence and recognition of the value of each person. In this regard, the 22nd Congress of the Spanish Society of Psychogeriatrics (SEPG) will focus on interdisciplinary collaboration, the integration of scientific knowledge with a humanistic vision, and advances in the care of older people with mental disorders.
Once again, it will be a space for meeting and learning where specialists from different fields will share knowledge, experiences and new perspectives to build together a more advanced, ethical psychogeriatrics focused on the dignity of our elderly.
