On behalf of the organizing committee and the scientific committee, it is both an honor and a great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 30th Congress of Neonatology and Perinatal Medicine and the 10th Congress of the Spanish Society of Neonatal Nursing, which will be held in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria from October 22 to 24, 2025.
First of all, we would of course like to express our most sincere gratitude to the Board of Directors of the Spanish Society of Neonatology for entrusting us with the organization of the Congress and for choosing the city of Las Palmas as its venue. Our goal is to maintain the excellent results of previous editions, both at the medical and nursing levels, by drawing on the contributions of outstanding national experts in various areas of neonatology, while also incorporating the perspectives of prominent neonatologists from other parts of the world. Their insights can be extremely enriching for us, both in terms of the current state of knowledge and the existing gaps. In this regard, we wish to place special emphasis on content related to the quality and safety of care, as well as on the inescapable ethical duty of protecting patients through well-designed and properly implemented research.
We have no doubt that the success of the meeting will depend not only on the selection of topics to be addressed but also on all participants—including speakers, moderators, attendees, and representatives of parent associations—whose active involvement will make the workshops, poster sessions, oral communications, and presentations more engaging and fruitful. We also hope that the exchanges during breaks and informal moments will provide a warm and relaxed meeting space for mutual understanding, intellectual exchange, and friendship.
Finally, we look forward with great enthusiasm to welcoming you personally to Las Palmas, where we trust that our Congress will meet your expectations and reward the effort, personal sacrifices, and time devoted to your participation.
